Step 1
This is what I started with, my hair down (straight, but not at all required.) And a hair tie.
I choose to make a very high pony tale. Or, you can turn in into a low bun. Either way, its adorable and super fun.
Step 2
Place a half bun, with your extra hair outside and towards your face...this is important so you can make it clean and beautiful bow bun.
I leave my bangs out, but you can do whatever with what you have, wear them up in a bump, sweep to side, or even up in the bow. Just depends on you.
Tip #1. Take some hair spray and spray the bump, it will help when you go to split for the bow.
Step 3
Now for the fun part, turning that random bump into a bow. And its so simple. Split that bun into two even sections.
Whala, the start of a bow!! Easy so far right?
Step 4
This is a bad photo, but it shows what you need to do, twist the last bit of hair, and pull back into the bun where you split it. To secure it, tuck the hair into the hair band and slightly tug on the sides of the bow (it will help secure the bun more)
Tip #2 Add more hairspray here to increase volume and hold of the hair.
Finished Product:
Cute, easy, fun, and playful for those lazy days, or dress it up and add a headband, or jewels and wear out for a night on the town.
