Art that I Love, Part III

As you may have seen before, my sister Brooke has amazing talent and does not realize how amazing she is. Lets see for our selves. What do you think? If you like any of them they are for sale and can be shipped anywhere in the United States.

Lipstick
This abstract impressionist female putting on her lipsticks is done in a watercolor array of light and dark earth tones with her eyes and lips and the focal point of the piece. Her defining and diminished features showcase real beauty.

"I dream my painting and I paint my dream."
- Vincent van Gogh

Ear Ring

Ear Ring is a pencil drawing done on parchment with colored pencils and accent to her ear ring. Background is charcoal.
This girl has minimalist beauty and looks out with curiosity as she hides away in the darkness behind her.

Her ear ring is focused on highlighting her cheek bone, ear, and hiding her neck.

"Art is not what you see, but what you make other see."
- Edgar Degas

untitled #1.7
untitled #1.7 is a great charcoal and pencil drawing of a ballerina enjoying her dance. simple, modest, beautiful are all words used to described untitled #1.7 and I have to agree.  the use of dark and light showcases the simple beauty in the girls legs while allowing her to flourish as well.

"The Human Body is the Best Work of Art."
-Jess C. Scott

Flower Girl
Flower Girl is also a wonderful charcoal and pencil drawing of a woman's simple beauty and her enthrallment of the flower in witch she looks upon. Blue in the flower can represent melancholy and wisdom.
