Everything Underneath.

Its Whats Underneath that Counts

Did you finally get the perfect dress for your date? or that amazing summer shirt you have been dying for but now you have to figure out what to wear underneath. There are some essentials every woman should have in her wardrobe no matter what the situation.

1. A Multi-Way Bra

A good multi way bra will allow you to change between strapless, racer back (x shaped) one shoulder, two shoulder and more. Having more than one color is also wise, as you wear black with dark colored outfits, nude with light to sheer fabric and white with light colored fabric. I will be honest and say that white is not as necessary as black and nude.

I don't have white bras and get by just fine without one. I have two different multi way nude bras and my go to bra that I wear on a more regular basis.

What shape of Bra to get?

the Balconette bra is great shape and style for underneath nearly anything that has a low neckline. But it has a catch. It is not great for supporting girls with larger busts.

The Multi-way bra can come in demi, full figure, push up, and many other styles. I say to find the one most comfortable that will be most versatile to you!

Plunge bra- Every woman likes to add a little spice to the right outfit. Add a great plunge bra in a sexy style. Lace and pattern designs are always fun to try.

Soft-cup bra is not for everyone. If you are too large you can look saggy and too small and not fill out the bra correctly causing lumps you don't want. However, if you do get a good bra that fits well. Keep it around for those outfits where lines from bras are visible. This is also great if you are like me and like the freedom of no bra without the wiggle room you get in your shirts.

T-Shirt Bra is as it seems, a bra made from cotton and made to go under t-shirts. They are great for teenage girls, athletes(not during game) or anyone on a casual day. they are designed to be seamless and to have the ability to wear them long term without feeling stuffed into a bra.

Sports Bra
I have been asked before why should I get a sports bra? I don't have large boobs, and I get support from my regular bra.
Sports bras are designed to hold your breasts in place while you run, jump, sit, stand, and just move in general. The difference between every day and sports is science. If you run everyday in a regular bra, your breasts are going to be moving, and as you loose weight, you also loose them in your breasts, which can lead to saggy boobs and can damage the tissue in your breasts. Sports bras are specifically designed to help give support, comfort, and protection against a range of issue that are caused my prolonged exercise in the wrong bra.
If you are like me and have larger boobs, then I wear a regular bra underneath my sports bra for  extra support. This just help me and the girls make sure every thing stays in their place and it doesn't get in the way of running or jumping around all day.
Feel good in your intimates, they are for you first!

2. Shape Wear

yes, you read that correctly, you need shape wear. Not because you are fat, but because clothing isn't perfect and the best way to look smooth and keep your posture up through out the day forcing your core to strengthen, it can also help relieve back pain and has the ability to give your walk a little pep in the step.    I have a pair in nude and its my dream come true. I instantly feel better and more confident.

Do not rely on shape wear for confidence however, this can cause false dependency and if you wear them at
too tight a size for too long. You can constrict your organs and cause damage to them.
Do not worry about the size on the package, worry about how your body feels in the shape wear and how comfortable you feel.

Make sure you get the size you need, its alright to have size queen, or D or XXL. If it fits and feels good, that's all that matters. Nobody else will see the size and if you don't like the size. Cut out the tag, magically the size disappears :)  I wear usually a C in Spanx, I am perfectly happy with that because 1. it fits well under my clothing and doesn't make me feel like I am being squished or being forced into the wrong direction.
Be Honest with your self, and you shape wear will honestly take care of you.

3. The Right Underwear

Its the dirty little secret nobody likes to talk about. What style are you? Boy shorts, cheekys, thongs, granny pantie.
The possibilities are all around yet nobody talk about them. Why?
I say, Let's be free! I love my boy shorts. I have some pretty comfortable boy shorts, but I also have hip huggers. those fit snug to your crack and I just  love the way they stay put. Also thin and flat they are great to go under neath dresses, jeans, yoga pants, and leggings.
Lace panties are great way to have no lines if you are worried about such a thing. I know with leggings, yoga pants and form fitting dresses, this is a concern and a bit of a hassle to remember what to go with which outfit. AH!!! Thats why I say lets talk. Ask your girl friends what they like. Its okay to talk about bodies.

4. Tights / Nylons

Tights and Nylons are the best and worst part of being a woman. They make our legs look great and our butts but getting them on and off makes us feel like Anne Hathaway in the Princess Diaries, a cluts and goof. I know I do. I love to wear fun tights with my dresses and skirts and Nylons too, but they can be such a pain!
I do know that every woman needs a good pair stashed away for that just in case moment when she realizes she needs them. There will come a point when you need them, or someone else does and it helps to have them handy.
 Snags?
Get a snag or run in your tights, hairspray and nail polish will be your best friends! Use nail polish to stop a run and hair spray to stop and snag or run and to keep your tights in the correct place.

To create a masterpiece you need the right foundation! Start with great under wear and you could never go wrong. Enjoy feeling sexy in what you own and always go for comfort and please yourself, not anyone else.

Love
Katelyn-Libbie
