Creative Custom Wardrobe Ideas.

Hello All!

First off let me apologies for not posting in a while. In the next few weeks there will be numerous posts that may interest you.

  • Thursday I will post the 7 Easy Cute Hairstyles for summer.
  • Repurpose a free t-shirt to your favorite T will come next week.
  • Naturally Highlighted Eyes will be late next week.

My good friend Maddy Gerlach is an amazing and inspiring woman.
While facing some difficult health problems, she takes each and every day with the greatest strength and is an inspiration to me, and too many around her.

She uses fashion, love and friends to make each and every day special and unique to her. I love her outlook on life and can always draw strength from her dedication to life and learning.

Maddy has recently started a new online sore called. Sew Madly she makes personal handmade bags to order. If you can think it, she can make it and she is supremely talented!

To create a custom bag that works with your wardrobe think about what colors you wear a lot. Do you have bright colors, darks, pastilles?

Dark color wardrobe. Greys, blues, blacks, denim, and anything dark can be great but adding color can throw people, accent with a fun and interesting patterned bag. Yellow and Orange are happy colors that bring out joy, Red is always fun for women and White will make a splash every season of the year.

Bright Colors speak for themselves. Try adding a fun print, such as polka dots and cheetah. Similar in shape, but different enough to make a splash. Don't be afraid to experiment. If you feel comfortable with what you put on your body, then nobody will think anything other than how confident and beautiful you are. I say be loud and proud and bold.

The Color Wheel can be your best friend.

Pastilles are beautiful and hot this year, you can add a fun water color inspired bag, or woven to complete an outfit. Don’t forget, when you custom make your own bags and accessories, you really get to personalized them.

Add lace to make a fun frill for you girly girls out there. Maybe add some chain detail, who doesn't love buttons and pockets, they are easier thank you think and can add an entirely new look to something old. Everything can scream personality without being too over dramatic. Experiment. Share. And Have Fun!
